Honesty is the best policy

The students of 3B conducted their assembly on 30th January. It was the most awaited assembly for the primary students since December. Due to the unanticipated holidays and cyclone, the assembly got postponed several times. However, students of 3B didn’t lose their interest or spirit though it was repeatedly rescheduled.

The assembly started with the school prayer by the school choir team. Eshan Balamurugan and Gowthami were the masters of ceremony for the assembly. Riya Chandrakanth and K.P. Hrishikesh delivered the inspiring thought for the day related to honesty. Anjali Alanthat presented the speech on the importance of honesty in our lives. Milad un-Nabi is a gazetted holiday in India and is also known as Nabi Day, Mawlid, Mohammad's Birthday or the Prophet's Birthday. There was an Urdu song sung melodiously; it depicted the happiness and importance of the festival. The skit on honesty had a valuable message. This was followed by the dancers enthralling everyone with rocking performances under the guidance of our dance teacher, Ms. Anitha ma’am.

The dancers performed both Qawwali and Punjabi numbers. The quiz masters, Malavika and Shane took over with some interesting questions related to the festival, Id. The audience answered the questions and received their prizes. This was followed by the vote of thanks by Mita Rao, she thanked each and everyone who helped us to organise this assembly.
