Wellness Talk Series
The year 2020 has redefined our way of life. We have been forced to stay indoors and adapt to a new way of life, distanced away from one another. Pooja Praful, an experienced counsellor and psychologist was amongst us talking to the children to better their wellbeing. Over multiple sessions, Ms Praful gave the students a platform to freely express themselves. Games, light conversation and a narration of her own feelings set the tone and encouraged students to communicate, share and connect.
Interactive sessions on ways to destress and expressing oneself saw students share various activities they have been engaged in over the past few months. Ms Praful spoke to students about emotional wellness and how emotional intelligence helps one cope with stress and unprecedented situations.
The programme gave an insight into the aspects of personal and social well-being. Games and prompted discussions helped students to connect themselves better to the topic.
