On 24th January 2025, the Grade 1C students hosted a delightful and meaningful class assembly on the theme "Sharing is Caring". The young students enthusiastically conveyed this important value through a wonderful enactment of a story from the Mahabharata.
The assembly began with a warm welcome by two narrators who introduced the theme and emphasized the significance of sharing in fostering kindness, compassion, and unity. This set the tone for the skit that followed.
The children enacted a well-loved story from the Mahabharata, showcasing the time when the Pandavas, during their exile, shared their limited resources with hungry villagers. The young performers demonstrated impressive acting skills, accompanied by simple yet effective costumes and props. Each child brought their character to life, from Yudhishthira's wisdom to Draupadi's devotion and Krishna's divine intervention. The heartfelt dialogues and expressions captivated the audience, leaving everyone inspired by the message of generosity and selflessness.
This assembly was a wonderful reminder that even the smallest acts of sharing can have a significant impact on others. The Grade 1C students truly embodied the spirit of "Sharing is Caring", leaving everyone with smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts.
