The school teaching programme at NPS International, Chennai, promotes spontaneity through interactive classrooms. Thus hands-on activity is seamlessly woven with extensive and focused exercises for reinforcement. The objective is to acquire knowledge with a holistic development, ensuring that the student actively participates in the learning process.

Sports along with multifarious co-curricular activities like music, dance, yoga, etc. are interwoven into the daily school schedule to ensure that a healthy body nourishes an active mind.

The school day begins with the assembly at 8:15 a.m. and ends with the National Anthem at 3:05 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Students may be called on Saturdays for special classes, functions, practices, etc., with prior notice.

The entire academic year is divided into two semesters – the first semester extends from June to September/ October and the second semester ends in March.
