Assembly: Grade 11 A, July 2023

An air of excitement thrummed among the students of Gr 11 in anticipation of their Class assembly. Themed “City echoes”, the class showcased scenes out of a radio station as well as its listeners. The programme began with a short video extolling the school’s green initiatives through the years since the school’s inception. Celebrating Vanamahotsav, the video highlighted the students’ enthusiastic participation in greening – both inside and outside the campus. The video enthused and encouraged the viewers to be a part of this initiative.

The entire assembly show was a skit weaved in with various elements including the news and the thought for the day. The scenes depicted slices of city life ranging from an employee travelling to work to a tea shop. These scenes were interspersed with comical advertisements, mellifluous songs and peppy dance numbers . The highlight of the show was the quiz that included guess the songs, answer ‘x’ things in ’x’ seconds and impossible questions. Due credits have to be given to students who persevered in scripting and directing the show. The entire event included an array of interesting and entertaining visual anecdotes and was truly remarkable.
