A Rally for Rivers India’s Lifelines

To create awareness and garner the support of the people for our dying rivers, a creative writing contest was conducted by the Isha Foundation powered by Camlin for the students of Grades 5-7 on the 6th of September 2017.

A 40-word paragraph on Saving Rivers: India’s Lifelines was the topic.

National Level Winners

It is with great pride and pleasure that we wish to inform you that 2 of our students Abhimanyu Pant of Grade 6 and Pravin. D.Christopher of Grade 7 have been judged the winners.

Our accomplished writers received their gift vouchers and cash prizes from the Honorable Chief Minister Shri Edappadi. K. Palaniswami.

The function which was held in the presence of Sadhguru, Isha Foundation was also graced by the Deputy Chief Minister O. Paneerselvam. A program which was ably conducted by the actor Vivek with performance by playback singer Shri Karthik was a tremendous encouragement to the young ones to raise their voices for the depleting rivers, our lifeline.
