Doctors’ Day Celebration 2026

Doctors’ Day is celebrated in India every year on 1 July to honour the invaluable contribution of doctors and their dedicated service to society.

To commemorate Doctors’ Day, our students from Grades 3 to 5 expressed their gratitude and appreciation towards doctors through a thoughtful and creative initiative. The children enthusiastically prepared beautiful handmade cards, using their own drawings, colouring and heartfelt messages. Their creativity and sincere efforts made each card truly special and reflected their respect and admiration for the medical profession.

As part of the celebration, two students from each section, accompanied by a few teachers, visited Gleneagles Hospital to personally convey their warm wishes to the doctors. An appointment was taken in advance, and the students had the opportunity to meet Dr. Sriram in the Emergency Ward.

The students proudly presented their handmade cards to the doctor and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the care, dedication and service provided by doctors. The interaction was a meaningful and memorable experience for the children, giving them an opportunity to understand and appreciate the important role doctors play in caring for people and saving lives.

The visit was filled with warmth, excitement and genuine appreciation. The handmade cards, created with so much thought and effort by the children, served as a beautiful expression of gratitude.

The Doctors’ Day celebration was a wonderful learning experience for our students and a heartfelt tribute to the medical fraternity. It encouraged the children to recognise the values of compassion, dedication, service and responsibility that doctors demonstrate every day.

The thoughtful gesture by our young learners made the Doctors’ Day celebration truly special and memorable.
