The program commenced with a prayer, followed by a brief introduction highlighting the benefits of practicing yoga regularly. Students participated in structured yoga sessions under guidance, starting with warm-up exercises and gradually progressing to asanas suited to their age groups.
Younger students of Grades 1 to 3 performed simple and effective postures such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Cat-Cow stretch, Vajrasana, and Bhujangasana. Students of Grades 4 and 5 performed Surya Namaskar along with advanced poses like Kurmasana, Ustrasana, Padahastasana, and breathing techniques such as Nadi Shodhana.
The session ended with Shavasana and meditation, helping students relax both body and mind. The celebration was well coordinated and encouraged students to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine for a healthier lifestyle.
