Assembly: Grade 9A, 2023

The students of Grade 9A had an excellent opportunity to showcase their theme: “The impact of Cinema” in their assembly. The primary purpose of this assembly was to inspire and motivate the students to explore and pursue what truly excites them. The students displayed their team-work, camaraderie, and resourcefulness in preparing for and presenting their program.

The show started with two friends who want to watch some films and end up watching a few scenes from iconic films with memorable characters. The different scenes were enacted by the children to emphasise the effect that cinema has had on our lives.

The news anchors shared updates of the happenings around us with International News, National News, State News and Sports News. This was followed by a quiz that engaged the audience. As always, the quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from the audience.

A stupendous effort by the children in collaborating and rendering the dance and mellifluous music through their band was the highlight of the show.

The assembly was wrapped up with the vote of thanks. Students conveyed their gratitude to the principal, teachers and non-teaching staff for their support and encouragement. The assembly engaged the audience and made them experience the magic of cinema once again.
