Navarathri Celebration 2025
Our school celebrated Navratri with devotion, color, and joy, creating a memorable cultural experience for all. The festivities began with a traditional Golu display, where children brought dolls from home and helped arrange them, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and the spirit of sharing.
The celebration featured a cultural performance by students of Grades 1 and 2, highlighting the significance of Dussehra. Children spoke about how the festival is celebrated across the country, accompanied by a live Golu display, representations of the nine forms of Goddess Durga, devotional songs, and a vibrant dance performance.
The celebration concluded with students singing devotional songs in front of the Golu. Teachers added to the festive spirit by preparing traditional sweets like pongal and sundal, which were shared with the children reflecting the customary Navratri practice.
The event successfully blended devotion, learning, and festivity, giving children an opportunity to connect with cultural traditions, showcase their talents, and enjoy the joy of community.
