Onam Celebration 2025
Onam, the vibrant harvest festival of Kerala, was celebrated in our school with immense joy, enthusiasm, and cultural richness. The entire day was filled with festive spirit, unity, and a wonderful display of traditions that brought the community together.
The celebrations began with students bringing fresh and colorful flowers from their homes. With great excitement, they worked together to create a beautiful Pookalam (floral rangoli) in the school courtyard. The carefully designed patterns not only added beauty to the surroundings but also reflected the spirit of teamwork, creativity, and cultural pride.
To make the occasion more memorable, the teachers prepared traditional Payasam for the children. This sweet delicacy, a highlight of every Onam feast, was savored by all, creating a homely and warm atmosphere that strengthened the bond between teachers and students.
The cultural program was a major highlight of the day. Young children performed a graceful Kerala Onam dance in traditional attire, captivating everyone with their lively expressions and rhythmic steps. The audience applauded wholeheartedly, enjoying the vibrant cultural display. Adding even more joy to the celebrations, the teachers also performed a special dance in traditional Onam attire. Their spirited performance delighted the students and created a sense of shared festivity, proving that Onam is a celebration for everyone.
Throughout the day, the school was immersed in the festive vibe of Onam, filled with music, dance, flavors, and smiles. The celebration beautifully captured the values of togetherness, joy, and gratitude that Onam represents.
The spirit of Onam filled the school with colors, flavors, music, and cheer. The floral pookalam, the taste of payasam, and the delightful dances by students and teachers together made the day truly memorable, capturing the festive heartbeat of Kerala’s beloved festival.
