Assembly: Grade 9B, 2023

Said Arthur Conan Doyle, “Where there is no imagination, there is no horror”.

No truer words have been spoken or rather enacted as grade 9B used the platform of their class assembly to spotlight the fantastical theme of Horror. The comical story of four protagonists and their desire to film a night out in a haunted house was the underlying storyline. Interspersed with news, dance and music, the skit was a comical take on some of the famous horror characters popular in books and in movies. With the quiz challenging the audience to guess the characters, the entire show was well received by the audience. The team work and commitment towards scripting the play, editing and designing the PPT as well as choosing costumes that enhanced the role play, are noteworthy. It was truly a memorable display.
