Assembly Grade 8B, 2024-2025
"Where there is no hard work, there is no success." This timeless truth was beautifully brought to life on August 6th, when Grade 8B staged their assembly highlighting the power of determination and perseverance. Drawing from the wisdom of the Hindi proverb “Kal Kare So Aaj Kar” (Do tomorrow's tasks today), students performed a skit on the pivotal role of hard work in shaping a successful future.
The assembly began with the MCs greeting the audience warmly. A beautiful rendition of the Tamil Thai Vazhthu created a calm atmosphere.
The "Thought for the Day" struck a deep chord: "Success isn’t about being the best right away but about giving your best effort each day. Keep working hard, and you will achieve all that you aspire to."
Their skit further explored this theme, presenting the contrasting lives of diligent students vs carefree students. Through humour, witty interviews, and vibrant music, the students not only entertained the audience but also helped them reflect.
The quiz that followed encouraged active participation, inviting the audience to engage more deeply with the theme. Behind the scenes, the students demonstrated remarkable collaboration—meticulously writing the script, designing the PowerPoint presentation, and choosing costumes that brought the characters to life.
The assembly concluded with a teacher’s heartfelt words, applauding the students' dedication. Drawing on real-life examples of individuals who overcame adversity through hard work, the message was clear: success is earned through unwavering effort and determination. This resonated deeply with all, inspiring the students to remain steadfast in their own pursuits.
