Art Infinity, 2021-2022
The annual art fest, Art Infinity, launched on the NPSIC Magazine platform on the 5th of February. A veritable collection of artwork, the fest saw a display of over 600 pieces of art from students across grades 1 to 12, a culmination of the academic year’s work under the guidance of the Art Department faculty. The vibrant exhibits depicted varied themes ranging from animes to winter landscapes and mountain scenes, popular characters from TV shows as well as animals. Human portraiture and animal anatomy also formed a part of this exhibit. The diverse mediums used by the students – watercolors, acrylic paints, pastels, to name a few, enriched the quality of the art pieces on show.
The Art room, the creative epicenter of the school, turned into a gallery featuring recreated paintings featuring The spotlight of the event was on the recreated paintings – Monalisa by Leonardo da Vinci and Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. The techniques and features used enthralled the viewers. This year’s event proved a testimony to the age-old adage: let us inspire and be inspired by one another’s creativity.
