Assembly Grade 6B
Topic: Small Act, Big Impact
You cannot change your future, but you can change your habits, and surely your habits will change your future.
-A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
AT NPSI, imparting values and life lessons are interwoven in the daily schedule. Class assemblies provide the ideal opportunity to impart values, not just among those presenting the assembly but the audience too. The class assembly of Grade 6 B, collectively presented a medley of vibrant ideas with a very strong message. The theme ‘Small Act, Big Impact’ was chosen by the students to highlight the importance of how a small deed of action can bring a greater impact to people around us.
The show began by quoting Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on how bringing a change in habits can change one’s future. This was followed by a round up of the national, international, sports, local and weather news. The quiz conducted tested the general knowledge of the audience.
The students used the medium of drama to demonstrate the importance of empathy in daily life. A thought provoking speech and an enthusiastic dance performance by the class reiterated the need to empathise with everyone.
The assembly proved to be a success with the audience enjoying and participating wholeheartedly.
