Grade 10 - Field Trip to Yercaud 2025

The students of Grade 10 went on a two-day educational field trip to Yercaud on the 20th November. They assembled at Chennai Central Railway Station at 5:00 a.m. and travelled to Salem by the Shatabdi Express, enjoying a cheerful rail journey. From Salem, they were taken by bus to their resort in Yercaud, where they refreshed themselves and had lunch. The first visit was to Peeku Park, where students enjoyed interacting with animals. They fed ostriches, played with huskies, observed exotic birds, and learned about animal behaviour and habitats. This visit combined learning with recreation and was one of the highlights of the trip. In the evening, students enjoyed snacks followed by a lively DJ night with music, dancing, and a pani puri counter. The next morning, after breakfast, they visited scenic viewpoints and botanical gardens. The return journey was filled with joyful conversations and fond memories.
