Assembly: Grade 10 B
Topic: Respect and Care
Respect begets respect. These are golden words that are applicable to everyone, irrespective of age, position or profession. Students of Grade 10 B emphasized this through their class assembly themed ‘Respect and Care’.
The entire assembly was themed on an award ceremony to recognise those who ‘Respect and Care”. The MCs then took over taking us through the events.
The thought for the day was presented in four different languages Tamil, Hindi, English and French. Newsreaders updated the audience on the local, national, international and sports news. A strong speech on the importance of giving respect struck a chord with the audience.
Children on the guitar and keyboard performed on multiple songs including ‘Say you won’t let go’ by James Arthur, ‘All of me’ by John Legend.
Two students sang ‘We are the world’ by Michael Jackson which was followed by a fusion dance performance by a group of students on popular songs like ‘Can’t stop the feeling’, ‘Idol’ and ‘DNA’.
The children then enacted a few simple scenes from the lives of a group of students to stress on the importance of respect.
Riddles and quiz sessions were the other highlights of the show.
The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks.
