Assembly Grade 6A, 2024-2025

World War 2

The students of Grade 6A presented an engaging and thought-provoking assembly on the topic of World War 2, a destructive global conflict that spanned six years. The assembly not only educated the audience about the horrors of war, but also imparted the message that peace is the mantra that we must follow as a global community. A visual performance of the significant moments from the conflict was brought to life through a skit. A harmonious song that represented the victory of one country over the other reverberated the venue. Taking a break from history, an energetic dance number pumped up the audience as the students danced gracefully to a series of songs. This was followed by a performance of the coveted martial art form – silambattam followed up by lilting instrumental music. Finally, a quiz was conducted, testing the audience’s knowledge on various historical wars. The event concluded with a note of gratitude from the students as they thanked the teaching and non-teaching staff for their support in making the event a success.
