The students of Grade 6D took us on a fascinating journey through time with their assembly themed "The Hidden Gateway”, transporting the audience to the legendary lost city of Atlantis and the awe-inspiring Mayan civilization. Through engaging role-playing scenarios, the students portrayed insightful conversations with the Atlanteans and Mayans, delving into the fascinating aspects of this ancient society. They learned about the advanced knowledge of the Atlanteans and the impressive architectural and astronomical achievements of the Mayans. Traditional dances and melodious songs inspired by both civilizations filled the air, captivating the audience with their energy and authenticity. A challenging quiz tested the audience's knowledge of history, adding an interactive element to the presentation. Finally, a comprehensive news report left the audience with a deeper appreciation for these remarkable civilizations.
