Assembly: Grade 6 D
17 DECEMBER, 2021
Morning assembly undoubtedly brings in a different excitement and zeal among students. While students get yet another platform to exhibit their talents and collaborate, assemblies aid community participation and team spirit. They offer an early opportunity for students to put their young minds to work, boosting their public speaking and theatrical skills.
The students of grade 6D picked ‘The people who saw the Judas Tree’ from the Series of ‘Jataka Tales’, an interesting, short tale on different perspectives.
The assembly commenced with the Ganapati Vandana which is believed to provide peace and serenity to our minds and souls. It was followed by a skit based on the selected tale. Students donned various roles with simple yet attractive costumes and played their parts with full conviction. This was followed by a dance duet that witnessed a fusion of Indian and western dance. Several students came forward to talk about and showcase their achievements during the year covering 3D modelling, Bharatnatyam, and Piano. Each presentation was enlightening as the students spoke about their skills with much confidence. The vote of thanks brought the assembly to an end.
This assembly came together due to the immense effort put together by the students. As they worked in cohesion, they created memories that they will recollect fondly.
