Assembly: Grade 7 B

The announcement of the virtual class assembly resulted in excitement and enthusiasm. Further, the additional responsibility of compiling and editing the video added to the clamor. The students gathered eagerly to discuss and decide on the role allocation as well as the manner of portrayal of the fantasy-based theme, “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief – Ch 5 and 6”.
Percy Jackson fans worked together to write the script. Following content approval, video shoots and editing began. The entire show began with invocation song and included speech and quiz. The highpoint was the drama depiction of the theme. The costumes and dialogue delivery enriched it further.
The team spirit and work ethics adopted by the children - particularly their ability to resolve differences and arrive at a consensus is commendable. The show also proved the ease with which children handled animation and video edition. The end result indeed mirrored the finesse of a movie maker. On the whole, it was an enjoyable experience to produce an entertaining display. Kudos to the children of Grade 7B.
On the 29th of October, the students of Grade 7B took centerstage with their virtual class assembly. Themed on “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (Ch 5 and 6), the show was a wholesome entertainer with invocation song, dance, speech and a humorous skit. The children are to be lauded for their coordinated effort in producing such an enjoyable show.
