Morning assemblies makes the students feel fresh and rejuvenated with positive vibes. It boosts the hidden talents of the children.
Students of 3D presented their class assembly on Kolkata, The city of joy. It began with a little boy who was curious to know about West Bengal and Kolkata for his school presentation.
Children spoke about history of Bengal and how Calcutta became Kolkata. They presented the thought of the Day through a quote by Swami Vivekananda.
The news readers shared the local, national and sports news along with the weather report.
Children came dressed as famous personalities of Bengal which created a lot of excitement among the students. They also presented different facts about West Bengal’s culture, festivals, food, music and popular places.
A group of students sang a song from the popular Rabindra sangeet ‘Ami Chini go Chini Tomare’ in both Bengali and English, leaving the audience mesmerized.
No celebration of Kolkata is complete without paying reverence to Goddess durga. With a splendid dance performance, a group of students paid obeisance and reminded us of the beautifully decked city during Navratri.
The attentiveness of the audience was tested with an interesting quiz covering facts and famous personalities of West Bengal. The audience actively participated and enjoyed the quiz.
