Assembly: Grade 4 B
Topic: Krishna Janmashtami
The culturally rich land of India, makes way for various festivals. Students of Grade 4B presented their assembly on the theme Krishna Janmashtami, taking the audience on a cultural and spiritual journey.
The thought for the day set the tone for the assembly followed by the news. While updates from the field of science shed light on the rapid advancements, the Sports News brought to fore the recent exploits of the Indian team and an update on the weather brought to a conclusion the latest from the news desk.
The children then presented a thought provoking skit 'O Krishna', presenting a variety of narratives depicting rituals, social structure and community behaviour.
A dance number on ‘Govind Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo’ by the students dressed in blue and yellow added colour and energy to the assembly.
A short speech on “Facts of Janmasthtami Special” led us to a melodious Kanha Soja Jara song rendered by the talented nightingales of the class. This was followed by the quiz, one of the most anticipated events in the assembly.
It was time for the children to put on their thinking caps and they were enthusiastic as always in their responses to the questions posed.
The assembly drew to a close with the vote of thanks proposed by the children to the Principal, the teachers, support staff and most importantly, their own families, who were the inspiration behind the show.
