Investiture Ceremony 2024
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”. Echoing this sentiment, NPS International, Chennai held its Investiture Ceremony on the 28th of June 2024. Each year, the school ‘Prefectorial Body’ is formed, comprising the School Prefect and Vice-Prefect, House and Sports Captains and Vice-Captains, and the Presidents and Secretaries of various clubs. The Investiture ceremony marks the beginning of the year where our young students officially don the mantle of leadership and promise to discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school.
This process is a testament to the trust which the school places on these young shoulders, believing them capable of carrying out their duties and upholding the ideals and vision of the school.
For the event, students gathered in the auditorium with much anticipation, seated house-wise to cheer their respective houses. The programme was graced by the presence of Commander A Parthiban Office-in Charge of the Naval Transmitting Station, Avadi. The presence of our alumni added lustre to the occasion.
The invocation Medha Sutham offered a mellifluous and auspicious start to the show. Welcoming the gathering, Vice- Principals Ms. Radhika Madhavan and Ms. Ranjani Ayyar stressed on the importance of developing leadership skills. They congratulated all the participants and extended their wishes to the winners.
