Grade 6C Assembly
Grade 6C conducted their class assembly on the theme Power of Kindness on 10 December 2025. The programme focused on helping students understand the importance of kindness in everyday life through simple, meaningful presentations.
The assembly began with a Thought for the Day, followed by relevant news updates and a short quiz. These segments encouraged student participation and introduced the theme in a structured manner. The quiz, in particular, helped reinforce the idea that kindness can be expressed in many forms.
A key segment of the assembly was the Life Skill Classroom activity titled Circle Time. During this session, students shared their personal views and experiences related to kindness. Their responses reflected honesty and helped the audience relate the theme to real-life situations.
The central presentation was a short drama that depicted how small acts of kindness can influence people and situations positively. The skit conveyed the message clearly and highlighted the impact of thoughtful actions in daily interactions.
The programme concluded with a group song and dance performance. This segment added energy to the assembly and supported the theme by presenting kindness as a shared value that brings people together. The assembly was conducted smoothly and received a positive response from the audience. Students demonstrated good coordination and teamwork throughout the programme. The associate teacher concluded the assembly with a reflective message, stating, “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”
Overall, the assembly helped students understand that kindness is a practical choice that can be practiced daily. It also contributed to developing communication skills, cooperation, and a sense of social responsibility among the students.
