Grade 6D Assembly
Grade 6C conducted their class assembly on the theme Power of Kindness on 10 December 2025. The programme focused on helping students understand the importance of kindnesGrade 6D presented their class assembly on the theme Living in Harmony on 08.12.25. The programme focused on how harmony is built through everyday actions and choices. Students shared reflections on simple habits such as speaking kindly, listening to others, helping peers and caring for the environment. These ideas were explained through short dialogues and examples that were easy to understand and relatable to daily school life.
During the assembly, a few minor errors occurred, but the students managed them calmly and supported one another. This reflected the very theme of harmony being presented. The associate teacher concluded the assembly by reminding students that harmony is not created through one big action, but through small, mindful decisions made consistently. The assembly was received positively by the audience, and it helped build students’ confidence and teamwork.
A related example of living in harmony was drawn from the recent summer camp. Students had been grouped according to their interests such as music, dance, art, theatre, outdoor skills and problem-solving. When a storm warning required a sudden relocation, students from different groups worked together smoothly. The outdoor-skills group guided movement, while the organising group managed supplies and safety. Students from music and dance groups performed briefly to keep everyone calm and focused during the transition.
The relocation was completed safely and efficiently. The experience showed students how cooperation and shared responsibility help manage unexpected situations. Together, the assembly and camp experience helped students understand that harmony is practiced through cooperation, respect and the effective use of individual strengths. Grade 6D carried this learning forward with awareness and responsibility.
